	The Friends of the Golden Gate Park Band come from a group of enthusiastic fans of live concert band music. They have a wide array of backgrounds and reside throughout Northern California. Some are active musicians whereas others are fans of music, but do not play an instrument. They wanted to make the public aware of the musical treasure they have in the Golden Gate Park Band as it was coming up to its 125th anniversary.

	Thor Rayward Ph.D. Chair: San Francisco Retired clinical psychologist and consultant to the pharmaceutical industry in Neuropharmacology			Dick Akright Vice Chair: San Rafael Master instrument repair specialist; Music store owner

	Ginny Vail Secretary: Retired telecommunications manager			Stevan S Chandler Treasurer: San Mateo Fiduciary, active musician

	David Bandy Board Member/Historian: Honolulu Graduate student, University of Hawai’i; worked for Walt Disney Entertainment, active musician			Bill Nemoyten Board Member: Hayward Retired businessman; arts administrator; music teacher; active performer

	Ruth Carbajal-Gronroos Board Member: Salinas Music tour organizer and active musician			Bob Gross Board Member: Lodi Retired music educator, school administrator, military band director; community band director

	Patricia Wheeler Board Member/Festival’s Band Liaison: Livermore Ph.D., retired educational researcher, active musician, and therapy dog handler			Ed Price Board Member: Moraga Management consultant, active musician

	Doris Hadley Board Member: San Francisco Retired Infection Control Coordinator at SF VA Medical Center; Nurse; faculty at School of Nursing at UF			Michael Wirgler Ex Officio: Oakland Retired music educator, Music Director and Conductor, Golden Gate Park Band
