History Book

As a special project, David W. Bandy, the Historian for the Friends of  the Golden Gate Park Band, has written a book about the history of the  Band, celebrating its over 5,000 concerts in the Park and 125 plus  years as a musical treasure for the City of San Francisco's residents  and visitor.  The book talks about the early years of the Band and each of its seven conductors, including the current one.  It contains numerous photos.  You may complete the PDF Order Form below or purchase it at the Golden Gate Park Band Festival each June and at some of the Golden Gate Park Band concerts.

T-shirts

Designed for the 125th Birthday Bash of the Golden Gate Park Band, this was one of the Friends of the GGPB's first projects.  It has a   historic picture on it of the Band in the Spreckels Temple of Music, which was dedicated in September 1900.  To purchase a t-shirt, you may complete the PDF Order Form below or purchase it at the Golden Gate Park Band Festival each June and at some of the Golden Gate Park Band concerts.

Band Photographs

The Friends of the Golden Gate Park Band arranges for a professional  photographer at each Festival to take photographs of all the  participating bands.  There are two types of photos available, a formal shot and a fun shot.  Photographs for the most recent festival are available from Music Images (www.musicalimages.org).

Recordings
