Sonoma County’s New Horizons Band was founded in 1999 by Lew Sbrana with twelve members, coincidentally the same number who started the Golden Gate Park Band more than a century earlier. This year, there are 67 musicians on the roster. The band plays two or three free concerts each Fall and then again each Spring. Founding Director Lew Sbrana retired in December of last year and Mike Milbrath has taken on the mantle of Lead Director.
