The San Francisco Brass Band is the newest Bay Area British-style brass band. Founded as a 501(c)3 in 2019, we became the first band ever from California to compete at the North American Brass Band Championships in 2022. In 2023, in only our second year of competition, we were crowned 2nd Section Champions with a near unanimous score from the judges on both the set and choice pieces. Our soloists won and placed in numerous solo categories and our small brass ensembles won 1st and 2nd place in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
