The Deutscher Musikverein of San Francisco (also known as the San Francisco German Band), under the leadership of President Walt Keller and the musical direction of Adrian Quince, is a 35-piece German community style wind band which performs regularly at events and festivals throughout San Francisco Bay Area.
The band’s forte is traditional and popular contemporary German and European music including polkas, waltzes, marches and contemporary German party music. The band also performs as a symphonic wind band playing a wide variety of classical and contemporary pieces.
