The Deutscher Musikverein of San Francisco (also known as the San Francisco German Band), under the leadership of President Walt Keller and the musical direction of Adrian Quince and Mike Martinez, is a 40-piece German-style community band which performs regularly at events and festivals throughout San Francisco Bay Area.
The band’s forte is traditional and popular contemporary German and European music including polkas, waltzes, marches, and contemporary German party music. The band also performs as a symphonic wind band playing a wide variety of classical and contemporary pieces.
