						The Cupertino Symphonic Band was founded in 1989 by Cupertino High School alumni. This non-profit community adult wind ensemble, based in Silicon Valley, is open to all wind and percussion players. The band’s 50+ musicians come from several bay area cities, with members from diverse backgrounds, such as teachers, engineers, designers, nurses, students, writers, and retirees. Conductor Jason McChristian is a peninsula school performing arts teacher.
The Cupertino Symphonic Band performs several free concerts during the year, including a Fall and Spring Concert, a Children’s Concert, and a Winter Holiday Concert.
